FAQs
Who owns Two Todman
The Anglican Diocese of Wellington (CC31568).
What is Two Todman?
Two Todman is a community space open to all. There are four rooms: An Op-Shop, a Community Space for hire, a Co-working Space, and a Chapel for prayer and meditation.
Who works for it?
Rev. Scottie Reeve (non-waged), Maggie Paine (waged), and a collection of volunteers from around the Brooklyn community.
Where do the Op-Shop funds go?
The proceeds from the op-shop go towards our community Fund. Twice a year local organisations can apply for funding. We have been able to donate over $15,000 to groups like the Community Gardens, Scouts, Brooklyn Toy Library, Brooklyn Kindergarten and more. The last couple of years some of the funds have gone towards the Brooklyn Twilight Festival that Two Todman has been instrumental in bringing back to life.
We welcome your suggestions for great groups that we could support in future months!
What are your aims?
Two Todman is a space for the local Brooklyn neighbourhood. All people, of all religious and philosophical beliefs, are welcome to use these spaces. It is our policy and promise that we do not share our beliefs unless asked.
Two Todman is supported by donations from our local Anglican Church. They meet in the Brooklyn Community Centre on Sundays. Two Todman and the Sunday church operate as separate initiatives.
Co-working, can I use the space for a day or do I need to sign up to a contract?
You are very welcome to use the space for a day, a week or longer! We have a variety of co-working options from a casual, hot desk, daily rate through, to a fixed desk monthly rate.
